The Inside Room
For a residency at Recess Art, a production studio with a green screen stage, editing deck, and recording booth was open to the public and operational for 7 weeks. Friends, artists, and passersby were invited to participate in the improvised creation of a TV show titled the Inside Room. The raw, green-screen footage was broadcasted on a website linked with the project.
For the closing, the culminating episode of the Inside Room was broadcast to a live in-studio audience. In it, two characters’ go on a journey in a self-driving car and become derailed by their AI’s GPS which is set to create directions based on branded media.
